Blue Eden Scrap Trading is a scrap yard in Musaffah M42, Abu Dhabi. We buy from the people who produce scrap in volume: factories clearing production waste, contractors finishing a site, workshops changing over machinery, and companies disposing of equipment that has reached the end of its working life.
The company behind the yard
Blue Eden Scrap Trading - Sole Proprietorship L.L.C. is a family owned business with more than two decades in the scrap metal and recycling trade. Naseer Ahmad Khalil Ahmad has been the sole owner since the company started. It is registered with the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi under trade licence CN-2966276.
Thirty-two permanent staff work here: supervisors, drivers, purchasers, cutters and general workers. Eight trucks run out of the yard, two of them hydraulic skip trucks and two fitted with hiabs, which is what lets us take a load that has to be lifted rather than carried out by hand. We collect across Abu Dhabi and out into the Western Region.
Buying scrap is the main business, but not all of it. We rent skips, clear sites after construction, and have held waste management contracts since March 2011. That work covers removal of recyclable metal, recyclable waste, non-recyclable waste and, where a client needs it, hazardous waste.
What comes through the yard
Most of it is industrial. Steel and copper off construction sites, aluminium extrusion, cable and wire, electric motors, batteries, IT and electronic equipment, and complete machines sold for their metal. Loads are usually mixed, and that is fine: we sort and grade before anything goes on the scale. If you are not sure whether we buy what you have, send a photo. Asking costs nothing.
How a collection works
- Send photos on WhatsApp, or call the yard and describe the load.
- We come back with a rate per kilo, or a price for the whole load, the same day.
- Our truck arrives at a time that suits your site, with labour if the material has to be lifted, cut down or carried out.
- Everything is weighed in front of you.
- You are paid on collection, in cash or by bank transfer.
Where the material goes
Ferrous and non-ferrous metal collected from our clients is supplied to Arabian Gulf Steel Industries and Emirates Steel (EMSTEEL) here in Abu Dhabi, and to Jindal SAW Gulf. What is not taken locally is shipped to steel mills in Karachi, Pakistan. These are long-term supply arrangements rather than one-off sales, and that is the reason we can commit to a rate on the day instead of waiting to see what a load fetches.

Two reasons, and neither is complicated. The price we quote is the price we pay, with nothing quietly deducted at the weighbridge. And the truck turns up when we said it would, which matters when a site has to be cleared before a handover date.
Certified and audited
Our management system is independently assessed by QRO Certification and holds three standards: ISO 9001:2015 for quality, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety. The certified scope covers trading of aluminium and copper scrap, transportation of metal waste, and trading of ferrous metal waste.
For a contractor or a factory, ISO 45001 is usually the one that matters. It means the hazard assessment and the working method are agreed before our crew starts cutting or lifting on your site, which is what most site inductions ask to see. Where we work
The yard is in Musaffah M42, near Bin Mansoor Plastic Factory. We collect across Abu Dhabi, and for larger loads we travel further into the UAE. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
